- A program of Nebraskans for the Arts

  • Arts activity in Nebraska is good for the state’s economy.
  • Tourism is Nebraska’s third largest industry, and the arts are a major attraction.
  • Artists contribute to Nebraska’s workforce.
  • The arts are part of a high quality education.
  • Arts organizations are educators, too.
  • The arts increase our quality of life.

Your membership contribution to the Nebraska Alliance for Arts Education supports a belief in the importance of arts education for all students in Nebraska, and allows the NAAE to convene artists, teachers, administrators and political officials in order to continue the important work of carrying our message forward.

Your Membership Supports:

Advocacy efforts, including timely action alerts and email updates, advocacy tips, toolkits and workshops.
Opportunities to contact and meet with your legislators, such as at our Legislative Lunch in Lincoln and Arts Advocacy Day in Washington D.C.
Meetings throughout the state with our regional board captains.
Access to reports and studies such as Americans for the Arts' Congressional Arts Handbook, Creative Industries Reports, and the Congressional Arts Report Card.
Professional Development opportunities, including conferences and workshops.
Recognition Opportunities for students and schools, including the School Board for the Arts Award, the Creative Ticket Schools of Excellence Awards, and the Kennedy Center/National Symphony Orchestra's Summer Music Institute.

Most importantly, you’ll help us to make sure that our legislators know we consider the arts a priority.
